A brand new title in the bestselling gorgeously gothic and wickedly funny Amelia Fang series - perfect for readers of 7+

MEET AMELIA FANG

The bravest little vampire in the kingdom

It's the half-moon holiday in gloomy Nocturnia which means no school for Amelia and her friends! Instead they are going to spend it with their Rainbow Rangers troop, (led by unicorns Ricky and Graham) earning badges on Sugarplum Island.

But whilst exploring, Amelia and the gang stumble upon an ancient curse - and are shrunk to the size of bugs! How will they make the bloodcurdlingly BIG journey to break the curse when they are all so very TINY?

Sink your fangs into Amelia's other howlingly hilarious adventures:

Amelia Fang and the Barbaric Ball
Amelia Fang and the Unicorn Lords
Amelia Fang and the Memory Thief

Amelia Fang is perfect for readers of 7+ and fans of Witch Wars, The Worst Witch and Isadora Moon

When she's not trying to take over the world or fighting sock-stealing monsters, Laura Ellen Anderson is a professional children's book author & illustrator, with an increasing addiction to coffee. She spends every waking hour creating and drawing, and would quite like to live on the moon when humans finally make it possible. Laura is the creator of EVIL EMPEROR PENGUIN and illustrator of WITCH WARS, as well as many other children's books. AMELIA FANG is her first series as author-illustrator.

Amelia Fang is back for another adventure with her friends Florence who is ‘ NOT a beast, but a rare breed of yeti’, Grimaldi the scared grim reaper of death and Prince Tangine Who really recommends his special eye cream. This time they are in Sugarplum island for the half moon holiday, away from their parents for a week with the rainbow rangers. Amelia and the gang are so excited to win the most badges and beat Frankie in everything. Until they go off to forage for a badge, they eat some scrumptious berries that turn them the size of bugs. These berries have been cursed and with the help of a bug king and a mermaid nurse, can they break the curse and reunite a lost couple?

I love Laura Ellen Anderson’s books, the minute I got my hands on this book, I read it straight away... not only does she write the books, she illustrates them too and they are just amazing! I love all of the characters in the Amelia Fang world, there are some really fab things that happen to them in this book, but I can’t say (as it would be a massive spoiler) and I’m looking forward to the next adventures. Brilliant again Laura!

I liked reading Amelia Fang and the Half-Moon Holiday even more than the first book in the series. In this book, Amelia goes to camp with Unicorn Rangers- I would really like to go to Rainbow Rangers and earn the badges!
There is a great adventure and I'm pleased that the characters are still spooky yet funny- I laughed a lot!

This is an adventure story about a group of friends who go on a Rainbow Rangers camp. I liked reading about what happens to them, especially when they eat the bewitched sugarplums! It was fun to read because there are lots of unusual characters. I also liked the pictures in this book. I would have given the book five stars if it had a bit more mystery in it, and if the characters were in more life-threatening danger.
