Nursery Sounds is a series of graded activity books in which Scamp the dog helps young children to learn letter sounds and to build and spell words. This book is suitable for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage who have started learning letter sounds. Book 2 includes: correct formation of consonants ('p' to 'z'), the sounds made by the above letters at the start of a word, alliteration (words beginning with the same sound).
