"ACE Literacy: English" is an approach that covers vocabulary, writing and reading, introductory grammar and introductory phonics. It has readers containing stories and non-fiction texts that are relevant to learners' interests and development. These readers are a vital part of the ACE Literacy method of teaching language with stories. There are also workbooks that are closely linked to the readers, and which offer enough reading, writing and thinking activities to keep children busy learning the whole year; when used with the ACE Life Skills series, offers an integrated Literacy and Life Skills course, providing teachers and learners with themes that link the two learning programmes (ACE Literacy and ACE Life Skills can also be used independently).
