"Who's Hiding?" is a delightful retelling of the Christmas story for very young children. Each part of the story is told on a double-page spread, with a repeated rhyme setting the story, a lift-the-flap element and a simple semi-rhyming development of that part of the story. Events covered include: the annunciation, the census, the arrival in Bethlehem, the shepherds receive the news, arrival of the shepherds at the stable, the shepherds worship Jesus, the three wise men follow the star, and the wise men worship Jesus. The final spread recaps each part of the story to reveal the angel, Mary, the shepherds and a wise man with the star.
