Chouette Publishing first published Caillou in 1990, and the character went on to become the well-loved hero of the popular television series. They are located in Montreal, Quebec. Pierre Brignaud is the illustrator of all the Caillou titles in the Hand in Hand series, Step by Step series and Baby Caillou. He lives in Montreal, Quebec.
