We love this book. My children find the tongue twisters hilarious and like to try to say them themselves. A fun book to share.

Tongue Twisters all the way! My son had so much fun seeing me read this book to him! It's super hard and funny, no way of not getting stuck at various points. It's a nice book also for early readers, and my son could have read it really, but he just wanted to have fun seeing doing it! Not so much of a story, like some of Dr Seuss' stories, but fun and quick to read. The kids love it.

I love this book because it was very exciting and funny. My favourite characters are Fox & Knox. It had lots of great rhymes and jibberish words on every page. I love Dr. Seuss and l would recommend this book to children aged 5-8!

Jack was recently bought this book for Christmas after reading and loving The Cat In The Hat Comes Back. He has developed a real love for Dr Seuss and his reading skills are getting better and better. This book has really helped him to put more words together and the simple rhyming makes for a pleasant and easy reading experience whether he is reading to me or I am reading it to him.

You cannot beat a bit of Dr Seuss.

Leo has been learning about rhyming words at school recently so it was no surprise that he chose to read this book at home. He finds the rhyming nonsense and tongue-twisters hilarious and several parts have him crying with laughter. It's a great book for beginner and non-readers, with lovely bright illustrations.

There is no better way to increase a child's confidence in his use of language than playing games with words. Dr Seuss' "Fox in Socks" is perfect for this and my 5 year old son loves reading this book. He always laughs throughout this book due to the rhyming words. Dr Seuss books are a great way to learn and read, children won't even realise how much they will get from reading the books! The pictures, once you get to know the style, really grow on you. You just have to keep coming back for more.

We love the Dr Seuss Books, but because this one is a bit on a tongue twister, it is probably our least favourite of them all. That being said, my children do enjoy the quirky, silliness of the Dr Seuss books and this book is no exception.
Like most of the Dr Seuss books, it introduces simple words like fox, socks, tick and tock. It also introduces counting and colour.
I would say that as the book progresses, it does get very silly, and because it's such a tongue twister, it difficult to read and for young ones to keep track of what's going on.
I'm not sure I would recommend it over other books in the series, or similar books - but it's meant to be fun and it will challenge the reading talents of any adult - and child!
