Being different from everyone else is hard. It is even harder for Luna, who lives in an isolated society that is different from human civilization as we all know it. When Luna meets Peyton who invites her to come with him in the outside world, she does not hesitate to go along with him. However, who we are is hard to escape and this is especially true for Luna who finds it impossible to escape her past. Casted out by her people and not quite fitting in with anyone else she attemts to live a normal life but her roots come back to haunt her, changing her life forever.
