When Rudolf Rassendyll, a young Victorian gentleman, travels to Ruritania, all he expects is a pleasant summer holiday. But when the King is kidnapped, he soon becomes involved in a plot to rescue him. Each scene is atmospherically brought to life with Simona Bursi's illustrations.
