When Toby loses his favourite teddy bear, Teddy, while on holiday at the beach, he's devastated. He and his dog Spike even put posters all around town asking about the toy. But when he finally spies a young girl playing with Teddy, a joyful Toby hatches a plan to get the bear back - and he succeeds! But he can't stop thinking about how sad the girl is without Teddy. . . and he knows he must make things right again.
