These copymasters accompany a pupil book that is designed to be used alongside any Key Stage 3 or lower school science scheme, which contains 18 long and 36 short science "explorations" The long "explorations" offer the opportunity to practice and assess all the main stages and skills of an investigation, whereas the short "explorations" focus on specific skills. The copymasters contain: guidance notes for teachers; National Curriculum references; equipment lists; safety notes; assessment guidance; self-evaluation sheets for pupils; support worksheets, in skills such as drawing graphs; and instructions for practical tasks. "Science Explorer" is also suitable for the Scottish Curriculum.
