All the animals are busy lending a hand in the garden in this lively numbers book! The parrots are pulling up carrots, the bears are picking pears and a swarm of bees are pruning the trees with their miniature shears. Julia Donaldson's whimsical rhymes and Nick Sharratt's hilarious illustrations make One Mole Digging a Hole a delight to read out loud. With plenty to giggle at on every page, counting - or gardening - has never been so much fun!

Such a lovely book, one of my sons favourite which has now been passed around to my daughter.

The rhyme is lovely and encourages the child as they get older to second guess the word that comes next. Lovely for younger children up to the age of about 4.

What a fun counting book with a great rhythm. The bright illustrations drew her to the pages they were funny and she loved pointing at them. Book is a perfect size for her to hold and flick through the book alone.

"Three bears picking pears"
"Four foxes filling boxes"
A cute counting book with rhymic sentences.
Each page is illustrated with fun animals pictures .The humor of the rhymes is emphasized by the bold and colourful images.
My 18 months old daughter loves this book and wants me to read it every day. I'm glad that I bought the board book version of this story, Very sturdy and can stand up to all the wear and tear .
