This is a really good science book, lots of experiments that both my boys can do within there age range. You'd have most of the things you need in cupboards but a few you would need to buy especially. Overall a really good experiment book that learns the kids about sound, light etc.

Wow.....this book is amazing. We started experimenting straight away. Our favourite so far is making boats to float on water and putting washing up liquid on our fingers and that makes the boat move through the water. Top tip make sure your mum or dad has all the stuff you need before you start ( Ooops ) we are going to do more experiments today I want to build a buzzer my sister wants to build a wheelbarrow ( typical) but I'm sure we can do both. Thank you very much for this brilliant book. By Jemima

I liked the instructions, I could get everything ready and follow them bit by bit, they were easy to follow. I liked the experiments that I have tried they made me think and I am looking forward to trying more.

My son has loved doing the experiments in this book. They are quick and easy to do and he has spent hours learning. Most of the experiments use household items. The odd one means a trip to the local DIY store but there is plenty to keep them occupied.
