A very quirky nursery rhyme book. Only a few rhymes were ones that we had heard before. Great illustrations as always from Quentin Blake.

The illustrations in this book are fantastic as you’d expect. The o lot thing that lets it down slightly was that I didn’t know any of the nursery rhymes. It’s good to learn some new ones, however, for a bit of variety!

Quentin Blake Biography
Quentin Blake is a much celebrated English illustrator, author and lecturer. He was born in London in 1932 and is still very active, helping to decorate public spaces including hospitals, galleries and theatres with his drawings. In 2013 he was knighted for services to illustration and became Sir Quentin Blake.
