The three Teacher's guides covering the main components of "Oxford Reading Tree" are all being revised to cover the following material: "Teacher's Guide 1" - Stages 1 and 2; "Teacher's Guide 2" - Stages 3, 4, and 5; "Teacher's Guide 3" - "Owls Stages" 6-7 and "Magpies Stages" 8-9; "Teacher's Guide 4" - "Woodpeckers"; and "Teacher's Guide 5" - "Robins Stages" 6-10 and "Jackdaws Stages" 8-11. "Teacher's Guide 3" provides: support for the "Owls and More Owls" at Stages 6 and 7 and the "Magpies" at Stages 8 and 9; photocopiable resources; diagnostic and assessment advice, with easy-to-use record sheets; language activities to support a range of reading strategies; and further activities with a strong cross-curricular content.
