What are phonics?

Phonics is how we teach children to read and write by listening to the sounds of letters and words and differentiating them. Children are sponges and can hear, identify and even use different sounds starting from a very young age, so why not start having phonics fun from the get-go with them?

By teaching children phonics from a young age, we kickstart their learning to figure out how to read and pronounce new words on their own. Children will quickly start to connect letters to words, for example 'c' with 'cat'!
