Pauline Francis

  • 5 stars across 20 books
Pauline Francis is particularly intrigued by the 16th century. "The more I learn about it, the more it fascinates me." Pauline admits to a lifelong fascination with Lady Jane Grey and found it frustrating that "she was always just a line in a history book". As she says, "I wrote Raven Queen to try to get to know her better". With 20 years of experience as a Secondary school teacher and trained librarian, Pauline has a passion for teaching and encouraging creative writing. Pauline had her first book published in 1994, and has had several books published since, including a number of retellings of well-known classics. Author location: Hertfordshire
