    Jon Klassen Biography
    Jon Klassen is a Canadian writer and illustrator of children's books and an animator. He won both the American Caldecott Medal and the Kate Greenaway Medal for children's book illustration for his picture book This Is Not My Hawhich he also wrote. He is the first person to win both awards for the same work. This was the second picture book Jon had written and illustrated after I Want My Hat Back

    Jon has illustrated books for other authors including The Dark written by Lemony Snicket, which made the Greenaway Medal shortlist alongside This Is Not My Hat. He's also worked with Mac Barnett to produce picture book Sam and Dave Dig a Hole.
