Cat Weldon

  • 5 stars across 3 books

Cat Weldon   writes funny middle grade fantasy stories with a particular interest in offbeat fairy tales and world mythology.  With a Master's degree in Scriptwriting and a background in children's theatre, Cat now splits her time between writing, teaching and making origami squirrels.  Cat lives in East Anglia with her husband, two children and collection of delinquent chickens.  How to Be a Hero   is her first novel.

Katie Kear  is a British illustrator and has been creating artwork for as long as she can remember.  She has an illustration degree from the University of Gloucestershire and has worked with publishers including Pan Macmillan, Penguin Australia, Andersen Press and Hachette. She is always on the hunt for brilliant stories to illustrate.
