Book pages Spot the... Reindeer at Christmas
Spot the... Reindeer at Christmas
Read to a child aged 2
This is a really lovely 'spotting' book, bursting with colour and fun illustrations. Each page has some festive things to find, similar to the style of 'Where's Wally'. The things you need to search the page for aren't just the same type of things on each page and there are some fun questions along the way too. The enjoyment of this book will last long after the festive season and I've spotted(!) that there are lots more in this series too. We really enjoy this book, thank you.

Book pages The Jar of Happiness
The Jar of Happiness
Read to a child aged 2
This book is completely and utterly gorgeous! From the front cover to the end; the story is simple but meaningful and heart-warming and the illustrations are adorable. When I saw the cover of this book it had a lot to live up to in my expectations, and it did just that. I really love to read my children books that they enjoy listening to, can appreciate the beautiful illustrations but, also have a lesson to learn and meaning to them. This book fits all of those boxes. This would make a lovely Christmas present for a child aged between 1 and 4, in my opinion, although I know my 5 year old will enjoy it too.

Book pages Aunt Amelia
Aunt Amelia
Read to children aged 2 & 5
From the same author/illustrator as Paper Dolls this is a story about children who are nervous about their baby-sitter coming, anticipating boredom however, Aunt Amelia is quite the opposite. Not quite following the notes the parents had left much fun is had by all but, all tidied away by the time the parents return home. The illustrations are brightly coloured and very sweet. A really charming book.

Book pages Mouse's First Night at Moonlight School
Mouse's First Night at Moonlight School
Read to a child aged 5
This would make an excellent gift for a child about to start Scool or Nursery. It's a gentle book about a little Mouse who is nervous about starting at School. It turns into a game and Mouse soon comes out to join in. This is a beautiful book with some sparkly illustrations and a sweet story. I always enjoy reading it.

Book pages Never Tickle a Tiger
Never Tickle a Tiger
Read to a child aged 5
This is a fun book about a little girl who fidgets a lot and what happens when she goes on a school trip to the zoo. Children love going on school trips, and love going to the zoo so they can relate to the excitement in the story. The illustrations are very special and the book is enjoyable with a funny twist at the end.
