As an 11 year old boy who recently started secondary school, I can really relate to kids normal on every level! It’s very funny and it’s the kind of book that keeps you entertained on a long journey or you can pick up and read fairly easy. I’d say this book would be great for the younger readers aged 9+ as it’s a bit too simple for me and that’s why I have it four stars.

Book pages Moonlocket
Moonlocket
BigBoyBen read it aged 11
If you loved Cogheart by Peter Bunzl you will adore this book, it’s even more exciting then the first book and just as interesting. When Jack Door is introduced as a world famous escapologist, as he is escaping prison, you can see from a mile off that Lily and Robert are going to cross paths with him, especially when Lily’s father leaves them alone as he sets off for London to work for HRH the queen!
But nothing prepares you for the secret that is revealed and when Robert inadvertently finds the hidden treasure the “moonlocket”, he puts them all in mortal danger.
Read this book... I know you won’t regret it!
