Noah's Ark
Author: Lucy Cousins Illustrator: Lucy Cousins
We love the Lucy cousins books. The illustrations are so colourful and happy. This book is very simple and well explains the well known storey. There is less rhyming than other books by Lucy but we still like this book.

Bing: Paint Day
Author: Ted Dewan
Another bright colourful fun bing book. Again the language is baby like so not great if your working on vocabulary but little ones will like the little cute words. It's bright easy for little hands a good length. My 14 month old follows along for the whole book and points at the pictures.

My First Gruffalo: Gruffalo Growl
Author: Julia Donaldson Illustrator: Axel Scheffler
A short quick easy book we read as part of a box set. The growl is one of our favourites from the set. Bright colours and easy for small hands to hold.

Bing: Something For Daddy
Author: Ted Dewan
An easy to read book and you don't even have to be a fan of the TV program. While the book is good there are lots of baby not real words so if correct vocabulary is high on your list then this might not be for you. It is a good size for small hands.

This Zoo is Not for You
Author: Ross Collins
A short fun colourful story perfect for young ones with a good moral story line too. We like to read it with funny voices and love that the animals are tired and sleepy at the end making it perfect to say goodnight or time for nap too.
