Book pages Big and Small: Little Friends
Big and Small: Little Friends
Read to a child aged Under 1
This lovely board book has gorgeous illustrations of little animals. It has a little book attached so children can mix and match up the animals and opposites in the big book. I think this will be a book we will read again and again. My 11 month old granddaughter loves turning the pages of the little book while I turn the pages of the big one. Lots of new vocabulary to learn too. I recommend it for children 3 years and under.

Book pages Bing's Wipe Clean Activity Book
Bing's Wipe Clean Activity Book
Read to a child aged 1
This is a lovely sturdy book with bright illustrations and interesting activities for children to complete. The pen provided wipes easily from the pages so activities can be done again and again. The ink washed off hands easily. Haven't experienced any on clothing yet so can't comment if it washes off easily. I would recommend this book for children around 2 and half to 3 years. Very appealing to young children.

Book pages That's Not My Owl
That's Not My Owl
Read to a child aged Under 1
My little granddaughter really enjoys this book. The pictures are so bright and clear and there are 'feely' bits on every page which she absolutely loves! The language is repetitive yet also introducing new words such as beak and wing. A book to be enjoyed over and over again.

Book pages Five Minutes' Peace
Five Minutes' Peace
Read to a child aged 5
I read this book to a reception class as part of a 'book week'. The children loved the delightful story about a mummy elephant feeling the strains of motherhood!!!! The illustrations are bright, colourful and full of detail and they inspired the children to draw and write their own story based on the Large Family. ( the name of the elephants). This book along with the others in this collection are read over and over again and the children are always engaged in it and can identify with the young elephants in the story. This book would appeal to boys and girls alike from 3 to 7 years. I recommend!

First 20 Numbers: Lift The Flap Tab Books
Read to a child aged 1
Bright and beautiful! A lovely hard board book with lots of sturdy lift the flaps. Each page has gorgeous photographs of lots of everyday items, food, animals etc. A lovely first counting book which I know my granddaughter will enjoy and learn from for a long time. Plenty of opportunities to enhance vocabulary and to introduce numbers to little ones. I highly recommend this for babies from 1 year old.
