Alan Durant has written over forty books for children of all ages - from pre-school to teenage - and in a variety of styles. He is also the author of Goal!, One Pig Went For a Drive and Football Mad! Alan frequently visits primary and secondary schools to perform, give talks and run workshops. He is passionate about reading, football and Manchester United!

Kate Leake studied Children's Illustration at the North Wales School of Art and Design and was runner-up in the prestigious Macmillan Book Prize. Her innovative use of colour and computer design create an unique style that is striking and fresh. She is also the illustrator of The Best Chip and Don't Chew the Royal Shoe.
