    Georgie Ripper Biography
    London-born Georgie Ripper is best known for illustrating the Rainbow Magic series of books. She won the Macmillan Prize for Picture Book Illustration in 2000 with My Best Friend Bob and Little Brown Bushrat which she also wrote. Her books have sold over 10 million copies in the UK and the Rainbow Magic series has sold over 20 million copies worldwide and been translated into 31 languages.
