The books in this series are set in Antiquarium, a place which, as the name suggests, is quite antiquated in its ways. Everyone is meant to follow the unspoken rules of society, and that is something that just doesn't gel quite well with the Porch sisters, Gertrude, Eugenia, and Dee-Dee. They'd much rather be collecting insects and creating new science experiments. So, they are expelled from every respectable school nearby, receiving instead a mysterious invitation to The Millicent Quibb School of Etiquette for Young Ladies of Mad Science.

In each book, the girls have uniquely fun and strange adventures, from saving their town from an evil cabal of mad scientists to finding a mysterious creature called a Shrimpmaid in their local lake.

This is the perfect series if you're looking for something hilarious and quirky like Roald Dahl books or A Series of Unfortunate Events. The books will be great for all science lovers, and we do highly recommend reading them in order of publication.
