Each book in this series follows a young boy named Freddie who not only is the kindest boy in all of Belville, but also has a talent for baking! Freddie, together with his little dog, Flapjack, deals with many different challenge in every new title, from bakery rivals, cake robber mysteries, and helping his friends with their problems, too. Freddie is such a likeable and positive character who promotes the idea that you don't need superpowers or magic to succeed ... you just need to try hard and do your best.
