If you're a fan of superhero comics and manga, the unOrdinary series by uru-chan is the perfect combination of the two to read. Perfect for middle-grade as well as YA readers, this friendship story set in a magical high school is packed with full-colour illustrations, adventure and more.

Originally published as a weekly webcom via Webtoon, the single issue releases have been serialised into volumes. The books are all set in Wellston Private High School, a school attended by superhuman students with incredible abilities. Our protagonist John, however, does not have incredible abilities or superhuman powers. He is a transfer student, and doesn't really manage to make many friends except for the brilliant ace student Seraphina, who has the ability to manipulate time. As the story unfolds, we discover John's family history is anything but ordinary, and a world of turf wars, betrayals, and deadly conspiracies comes to light.

This is a great webcom to read if you are after a manga-style comic series with magic and adventure, like the Percy Jackson Graphic Novels Series or Amulet.
