Spiderwick Chronicle Series

The Spiderwick Chronicles is a magical fantasy series for ages 8+, by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black.

The story starts when siblings Jared, Simon and Mallory find a dusty and mysterious, handmade field guide hidden in the attic of the old mansion they have just moved into. The field guide tells of a magical and perilous world that exists in parallel to their own - the world of faeries. The children want to tell everyone, but the faeries will do anything in their power to stop them…

The Spiderwick Chronicles characters were brought to life in the live-action Spiderwick Chronicles film in 2008.

We recommend reading the Spiderwick Chronicles books in order, starting with book one The Field Guide. The books are perfect for fans of Lemony Snicket.
