We couldn't agree more that Officer Clawsome by Brian "Smitty" Smith and Chris Giarrusso is the perfect mix of Dog Man and SpongeBob: a full-colour graphic novel series set underwater, perfect for readers aged 8+!

Over the course of the series, we meet a brilliant crimefighting duo: Clawsome, a lobster hero, and his partner Stariana, he sharpest and smartest starfish in all of Caper Cove! Together they fight such denizens of the deep as the Catfishburglar, Chowderhead, and the Brain Sturgeon. Not even the cove’s biggest criminal mastermind can stop them, and in each new book they get to the (sea) bottom of a new case.

We love the colourful graphic-novel style illustrations throughout, the friendship of our crimefighting duo, and the many, many puns that make for a laugh-out-loud read. Little ones will love this series, including reluctant readers who may enjoy a more visual experience when reading.
