Written by the same author of the Dreamweavers and Agent Zaiba Investigates books, and illustrated by the official artist for World Book Day, this is an illustrated series for readers aged 9+ we HAVE to recommend. 

Yasmin Shah is a ten-year-old girl who is part of a big, noisy family and doesn’t ever speak. Levi is a rude, sassy toy llama, who talks A LOT and has come to wreak havoc in Yasmin’s life. In each book, Yasmin ends up getting dragged along on Levi's crazy antics. Life is never boring with Levi around – and it could just be that he has a secret plan to help Yasmin find her voice. And once he's helped her, Levi has more grandiose plans for other children. And he's taking Yasmin along for the ride!

What we especially love about this series is that the idea came to the author because she realised there was a lack of representation of funny girls and diverse characters in children’s books – and she decided to do something about it by writing this!
