Jack Courtney Adventures is a new series of Wilbur Smith books for readers 10+, co-written with author Chris Walking, and featuring characters from Wilbur Smith’s bestselling Courtney series for adults.

Wilbur was inspired to write for a new generation after seeing young people’s commitment to tackling climate change. His new trilogy follows the adventures of fourteen-year-old Jack Courtney, as he travels to the jungles of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the beaches of Zanzibar, fighting to protect his family, friends and the planet. With bandits, poachers and wild animals standing in their way, Jack and his friends need their wits about them to save the day.

The thrilling fast-paced adventures all have an environmental message and plenty of action and are perfect for fans of Alex Rider.

We recommend reading the books in order, starting with book one Cloudburst. The third book in the series, Shockwave, will be released in 2022.
