Courageous female protagonist Malice Malign has a strong moral compass and a big heart, standing up against her family’s mischievous traditions, and seeking to right wrongs whenever she can. You can expect lots of mischief, unexpected disappearances of ghosts, Halloween balls and, of course, mystery. Alongside Private Investigator, Uncle Vexatious and her best friend Seth, Malice performs daunting feats such as travelling from the ordinary world of Topside, where alive people live, to Underland, a world of disorder and supernatural forces.

This is a great series for fans of The Swifts, Robin Stevens and Lemony Snicket.
