Sharna Jackson is one of our favourite voices in the middle-grade crime fiction space. Her characters are relatable, the crimes they uncover are jaw-dropping and in this specific series, there is no such thing as a quiet half-term! 

The High-rise Mystery series follow two sisters called Nik and Norva who live on a council estate in South East London called Tri. Their lives are rather ordinary, but rather strange things happen where they live, and so in each book they must put their detective skills to the test. From uncovering the mystery of their dead art teacher to a famous pop star's 'accident' on the Tri, these two sisters are sure to leave no detail amiss. 

If you enjoyed this series, we highly recommend reading Sharna's other mysteries, The Very Merry Murder Club and The Nine Night Mystery.
