These pulse-pounding middle grade books are based on the stealth horror game Hello Neighbor. They all include two-colour illustrations throughout and lots of mysteries for readers aged 9+ to solve.
The books, like the game, follow Nicky Roth, a neighbourhood resident who notices some strange happenings at his next-door neighbour's home, and Aaron Peterson, the next-door neighbour. Both characters are children in this series, and the books all work as a prequel to the actual game. There is also an official game guide available that you can use while playing. It includes step-by-step guides, in-world blueprints, theory pages, notes and tips to survive the game.
This is a great series for anyone who loves playing video games and enjoys horror, and is perfect for fans of Five Nights at Freddy's.
