Read with Oxford is a new range of readers for children aged approximately 3-8. Featuring much-loved characters, great authors, engaging storylines, and fun activities, Read with Oxford offers an exciting range of carefully levelled reading books to build reading confidence.
From the first early reading steps all the way through to reading independence, the new levelling system – Read with Oxford Stages – has been designed to help parents find the perfect books to support their child’s reading journey at every stage. It enables, inspires, and empowers parents to independently identify, track, and nurture their child’s reading development.
Each of the six stages are colour-coded and underpinned by a simple statement to help you choose at a glance the right stage for your child. Read with Oxford Stages are also aligned with the Oxford Levels and Book Bands used in schools throughout the UK, so that you can match Read with Oxford books to those your child brings home from school. The series features many well-loved characters including Roderick Hunt and Alex Brychta’s Biff, Chip and Kipper; Julia Donaldson’s Songbirds; and Valerie Thomas and Korky Paul’s Winnie and Wilbur.
Take a look at the six different stages below or take the simple test over on the Oxford Owl website to find out which stage would suit your child.
