The Star Friends books are a sweet and gentle chapter book series with black-and-white illustrations for animal lovers aged 7+. They don't have to be read in any particular order, and each book is about a new main character and animal.

In each book, one of the Star Friends must work with her Star Animal, using their special powers to stop the dangerous forces of dark magic. Maia and her fellow Star Friends will stop the entire village from getting too sleepy, stop the unlikeable Mr Patterson from destroying the clifftop habitat, save the local sports team from a bout of bad luck, and so much more. 

Fans of My Secret Unicorn, The Rescue Princesses and Rainbow Magic  will love to step up their reading game with this cosy magical adventure series.
