If you've been a Toppsta user for a while, you'll know all our little ones LOVE playing Minecraft. We have in fact written a whole blog post on the 10 Best Minecraft Books for Kids and on Keeping Kids Busy During Half-term with Minecraft.
And if Minecraft is a favourite in your household too, here is an entire series of (unofficial) Minecraft adventures, perfect for readers (including reluctant readers) aged 7+. The books do not have to be read in any particular order, so just go with whichever adventure feels most fun to you! And inside each book, you'll find lots of photos from the game, making them fun to engage with visually, too.
Each book in the series follows Zack Zombie, a 12-year-old Minecraft zombie in Minecraft middle school. He must deal with mutant bullies, zombie puberty, and even participate in the occasional Zombie Apocalypse. He also has a crew of Minecraft friends, and together they always find a way to save the day. With each adventure, Zack learns the value of friendship and courage, and learns how to overcome adversity, lying and sibling rivalry!
Packed full of adventure and heart, we couldn't recommend Diary of a Minecraft Zombie more to avid gamers. For more adventure series, do also check out our Best Adventure Series for 7 and 8 year olds blog post.
