My almost 4 year old twins received a collection of Meg and Mog books from Santa and absolutely adore them! The illustrations are wonderful - so bright and vivid and really capture their imaginations. The Meg and Mog stories always make them laugh and this book is so exception.

Meg, Mog and Owl decide to go and stay at a castle. There they see a ghost but Meg makes a spell for it to go away and it turns into a White Knight. Meg, Mog and Owl help the White Knight Chase away the bad Green Knight.

Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic book from the Meg and Mog series!
The storyline is simple and easy to follow: this time Meg, Mog and Owl go to stay in a castle and end up meeting a ghost. Meg casts a spell to make the ghost go away and turns him into  a white knight. They team up with him when the green knight attacks the castle.
The illustrations are bold, eye-catching and vivid; my children are fascinated and spend lots of time independently examining them.
There is a lot of interesting vocabulary to introduce - such as "portcullis" and "battlements" and some room for discussion about history (more so as they get older) about boiling oil and so forth!
Brilliant introduction to castles and knights for little fans of Meg and Mog.

Men and Mog are a brilliant series of books for smaller children.
Written in a comic book style with simple cartoon illustrations they are brilliant for any age.
The big pictures in bold colours capture my baby, whereas the text being simple, is great for my toddler to try reading to me!

We were recently given a big set of Meg and Mog books as a friend knew that my daughter was a fan of the series. The really bright, bold, solid colours are very appealing and the pop art style graphics and captions are fan and very '70s-esque (I believe they were originally written in the '70s). This one features both a ghost and a witch - two of my daughter's least favourite things - but in this format she doesn't mind them as they are not in the least scary.
