A cheerful and uplifting book in which Skip is introduced to all kinds of emotions. For toddlers ages 30 months and up, with a focus on the child’s feelings.Skip has butterflies in his tummy because today is his birthday. He’s surprised by Mom, Dad, and his friends. When a balloon bursts, Skip is a little startled, but thanks to Mom’s thoughtful cake, he’s not sad for long. He feels impatient as he unwraps his presents, and he gets a bit shy when Mara gives him a kiss. Skip is so happy after such a wonderful day!
