The Wasp and the Bee is a story set in the English countryside in the summer, about a little bee who is led astray by a selfish wasp. The bee and the wasp become friends and the kindness of the bee wins over the wasp and changes his ways.

This beautiful book showcases bright, full colour images accompanied by a rhyming story, which contains a little bit of wisdom and always a delightful ending.
Each book is beautifully hand painted in rich oils and photographed at high resolution so you can get a sense of the brush strokes and the detail. They really are a work of art in themselves. The sisters have kept a little reality in each picture, portraying realistic images of the characters, but setting the stories to rhyme which hold a little bit of wisdom in each.
These books are a breath of fresh air in a world of digital animation, harking back to the days when children would be in awe of the artistry and vitality of oils and the paint brush. A memorable gift for all under five year olds they'll remember when they grow up.
