I love watching Dr Who on TV so was so happy to read this book, it is just like the television programme and there is lots going on in the book.  It is a very exciting story  with lots of action. I really hope that there are going to be some more of these books!

i really like doctor who especially now that the doctor is a woman.
I liked that it is the same characters in the book as in the most current tv series which made it easy for me to follow, I'm not sure if it would be as enjoyable if you don't like doctor who though

I really loved this book. I am a big Doctor Who fan so I couldn't wait to read it. I was not disappointed. David Solomans has done a brilliant job bringing much loved characters to the page. It is exciting, funny and I couldn't put it down. My mates all want to borrow this one!

I really enjoyed this book because it had a lot of mystery and I was always curious to find out what was going to happen next. Each chapter had a different twist and turn, which kept me wanting to read more. My favourite thing was how the author really portrayed the character and the book might even be better than the series. When I read the book I could picture every tiny detail of scenery and the characters. I would recommend this book to ages 10+, as some of the vocabulary is difficult for younger readers. I would also recommend it to Doctor Who fans as they would love it! (Lillia, aged 10)

I was really looking forward to reading this book and I was not disappointed. The characters are brought to life in the writing and the tyrannical aliens are causing havoc right from the beginning. The thing that I found most compelling is that I could picture the characters from the TV programme saying and acting just how Solomons described them. This book will be adored by Doctor Who fans and may even create new ones. I am really looking forward to sharing this at school and getting the children’s opinions/reviews.

This Doctor Who book holds an intriguing story which has all the same characters as the TV show but a new storyline. It is really adventurous and if you watch the show you can really relate to the characters and what they say. I would recommend it to Doctor Who lovers as it doesn’t even spoil the show! Therefore, I would rate it 11/10! (Isla, aged 10).

I have not watched Dr Who on TV yet, therefore I didn’t enjoy it as much. The author’s style of writing is good and the story is intriguing throughout. My favourite character is of course Dr Who. I feel that people who have watched the TV program might enjoy it more, however, it is only my opinion.

I haven't watched doctor who before, so didn't know whether I would enjoy the book. There were a few things throughout the book that I didn't know what it was, as I haven't seen dr who or read any other books. So in that case it meant the experience of reading the book, wasn't as good as it could have been if I knew more about doctor who. But I still enjoyed the book, due to the subject matter . Some illustrations would have probably made a difference to me in this instance, as I may have been able to see what some of the things they were talking about in the book were, such as robots and baddies.

I liked the story, but occasionally it was hard to follow. This was the first Doctor Who thing I've ever read or watched, and I didn't know what to expect. It was pretty good, but it dropped a star because of the characters all throughout the story, as the book kept on introducing new characters, and not many were helpful to the Doctor and her friends. This book was hard to get a grip on at first, but I think that overall, it was a good read.

This was one of the few books I have read that I didn't like because I think it was boring but it flowed very well with the new series of Doctor who.
