When Davy's Aunt Becky hears that Aida is performing at the Opera House, she is desperate to go, but the tickets are so expensive. Then Davy has a brilliant idea. Why not stand outside and listen - for free! On their way, they visit the zoo and pick up another opera-lover - Larkspur the lion. His parents think he's loopy - he'd rather listen to screechy people than eat them. But Larkspur's journey to the Opera House and unexpected arrival in the foyer causes panic and mayhem - even Constable Potts doesn't know what to do. Perhaps someone should call for a vet and a net. Suddenly out steps Signor Singalotti, the famous opera star, to find out what on earth all the noise is about. When he spots Larkspur, he's overjoyed - he needs a lion to perform in the Grand March that very evening. Watching from their posh box, Davy and Aunt Beck are thrilled - wearing a jewelled collar and roaring magnificently, Larkspur really is the star of the show!
