I read it to Arya aged 3 aged 3
Peepo! (Board Book) 9780141337425

This is a truly classic story book that every child should have the pleasure to have read or read to them. It's about what a baby can see and there is a little hole cut out of each page and that is what the baby can see. It takes you on a journey about what he sees his family doing day to day. It is full of warmth and love and Arya likes it read to her over and over again.
It is also very good at engaging your child as Arya loved looking for the things the baby could see on each page. Each page has lots of detail that you can talk about too.

Can't go wrong with these authors. This was the first book we bought written by them, and we now have quite the collection. Gorgeous illustrations of a family who have a little baby, the book consists of beautiful rhymes, ending up with the phrase Peepo! Which my toddlers loves, and now does it himself.

Classic book, and I highly recommend.

Peepo' is a classic book that should be in every child's library.Set in the 1940's, you enter a typical household through the eyes of the baby of the family. You meet the baby's two sisters, his parents and his grandma and the love and warmth of his family is clear to see. There is a lot of detail in the pictures and is it fun to look for the things that the baby can see. A warm, comforting read, this is highly recommended.

Me and my kids love this book. I've read it to all mine from a really young age and my 9 year old knows it by heart.
It's a fun book about what the baby can see and each page has a peep hole onto the next. It's great for getting all the kids involved and it's a truly heart warming book.

This is a brilliant both that my girls absolutely love!

For Baby the board book is sturdy and pages can be easily turned, the illustrations are inviting and the cut out circles allow us to be silly and play "Peepo!"

The story is based on what a baby can see and with it being set in the 1940s there is so much to observe and discuss which also makes a great book for my toddler.

The story itself is quite long so more suited for my toddler in that respect however, definitely a read that makes both my daughters smile.

A definite classic delight.

Peepo is a timeless classic for younger children. It's good fun, light hearted and keeps the child engaged. My little boy who's 2 loves shouting out peepo and turning the page. He's likes the way it rhymes and enjoying inspecting the pictures and pointing out things he recognises

This is such a treat for any parent to read to their baby or child. I was instantly transported back to my own childhood when reading this to my young daughter. The illustrations are so charming, taking a child through the day in the life of a little baby living during the 1940’s. Despite it being set in 1940’s all senarios are timeless and will totally resonate with babies and children of our generation. An absolute classic for any baby or child

One of my favourite bedtime story's. Seeing the world through a babies eyes, set in the 40s/50s. Brings things into perspective when after all that goes on around us family and our familiars surroundings are the most important. A lovely rhyming book and my girls love to sing Peepo to me when it's time to turn the page,
