I was dead for 13 minutes. I don't remember how I ended up in the icy water but I do know this - it wasn't an accident and I wasn't suicidal. They say you should keep your friends close and your enemies closer, but when you're a teenage girl, it's hard to tell them apart. My friends love me, I'm sure of it. But that doesn't mean they didn't try to kill me. Does it? 13 MINUTES by Sarah Pinborough is a gripping psychological thriller about people, fears, manuiplation and the power of the truth. A stunning read, it questions our relationships - and what we really know about the people closest to us ...Read by Rosie Jones (p) 2016 Orion Publishing Group

My favourite thing about this book is that you continue to wonder what is going to happen next.

I liked this book very much. It gave me a peek inside a regular teenagers mind except for the fact that there was killing and pretty much in this book. My favourite character is Jenny because in the end, although she wasn't the best intentional character, she didn't betray Tasha and tell the truth about what happened. This book is definitely for an older audience but is also mysterious. This book made me feel as if I was back in school, it was exactly as if some teenager wrote it. My favourite part was definitely the ending :)

I enjoyed this book because the plot was exciting and the characters offered an insight into the teenage mind. I feel you can relate at many ages as it explores the thoughts of not only a teenager but the relationships within the book, overall that of trust. I would rec commend this, a thriller to settle down with and anticipate the twists and turns that occur.
