Farah enjoys her private girls' school and fun with her friends until the day she is given the assignment to bring in something representing her mother to talk about for 'International Woman's Day'. Compared to her friend's glamorous actress, make-up artist and tap-dancing mothers, what can her modest, humble mother possibly have that is worth sharing with her classmates?

I like this book because it's beautifully written and the cover makes you want to know whats on the inside.
It's about a girl named Farah who's got to bring something in to school for 'International Women's Day'.
But compared to her friend's tap-dancing mums, Farah wonders what she could bring in and thinks her mother is very boring.
My favourite characters are Farah [main character] and Tammi [the girl who was very popular].
