My son recently turned 6 and asked for a Horrid Henry boxset, he has thumbed through a few before but devoured this book as soon as he unwrapped it. The Horrid Henry series is perfect for more confident readers who have recently moved onto chapter books, with easy to digest chapters and words to challenge but not deter they are perfect for my son. This book produced a few giggles and had my son hooked from cover to cover.

I have read a few of the horrid Henry stories, and I really enjoy them. I really like this book as it has 4 stories, and they are all really funny. They aren't too long, the text is a good size, which I like and they are easy to read. I read the whole book on my own no problem. The stories are silly as usual. The zombie vampire story isn't scary. There are black and white illustrations throughout the book.
