This is a fun rhythmic book to read aloud about a little boy visiting his grandparents who have a farm animal refuge. There are alpacas, donkeys, goats, roosters and many more critters who live on the property. There is even a goat named Kookie who rides in a wheelchair. Kids will enjoy meeting the animals in this colorfully illustrated story based on a real farm animal refuge in North Carolina. All proceeds from the sale of this book go to support the animals who live in the refuge.
