Roe is a humble scullery maid at the court of King Arthur. Fed up with her miserable life of drudgery, she decides to disguise herself as a boy and become a squire to one of the brave knights of Camelot. Her plan succeeds, but the arrival of the terrifying Green Knight changes the path of her life in a way she could never have imagined.
