A long time ago in Sunset Palace in the Kingdom of Manaos there lived a young Prince by the name of Mahir. One evening when Prince Mahir is nine years old he becomes lost in a forest while riding his horse and is rescued by the Queen of the flying foxes, Queen Wallababa, who takes him to her beautiful island. The Queen explains that the island gets flooded every night. Mahir takes the Queen to an Indian Chief who has a plan to stop the flooding. In the second story Mahir rescues a wounded swan called Sia who uses her magical powers to take him to visit Queen Wallababa on her tropical island. During the trip Mahir meets some interesting people.
