A compelling story of a young spaniel puppy desperate to be loved. With a promise of becoming a "gundog" and working with the gamekeepers, Tinker's dreams are shattered when this does not happen. Dismissed and neglected, Tinker spends her puppyhood days alone in a kennel, except for a tiny orange creature who befriends her. After running away twice and creating havoc along the way, is Tinker in danger of being sent to the Dog Pound ~ for good? The tiny orange friend appears in every picture with Tinker, but only special children can see him; will you?

I have always had a deep passion for animals, especially dogs. I have owned cocker spaniels for many years and was fortunate enough to spend a few of those years breeding pedigrees and was a registered breeder of the Kennel Club. From the bitch coming into season right through to the birth, it was an incredible experience and a marvel to witness new life.
